My career began in the most beautiful classroom imaginable. For four summers with Neilson Holidays, I photographed families on holiday across the Greek islands - every week from May to October, meeting new families and capturing their holiday memories. It's where I learned the skill I use every single day: how to make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera, even when they'd rather not be there. That’s why a lot of my headshot clients say they hate being photographed before the session - and are surprised by how relaxed it actually feels.

Working with hundreds of families taught me to read people quickly, direct naturally, and create genuine moments efficiently. I also photographed destination weddings in Greece and Ibiza, which deepened my love of natural light and outdoor settings.

Back in the UK, I spent six years as a photography technician at a college, building extensive studio and lighting expertise. That combination - Mediterranean outdoor photography plus professional studio work - means I'm equally at home creating polished headshots in Leeds or natural family portraits in the Yorkshire countryside.
